A life of making things

Peter Saloom shown front left in about 1960 Ever since Peter Saloom can remember he has been making things. This passion took root in his Father’s basement workshop in Mountainside, New Jersey in the 1960s. There he created things he dubbed “traptions” (contraptions). They were usually made of spare materials, paper clips, string, nails and screws. From this work came his love for designing and making things.
